We are often asked about the colour of our beeswax candles. Beeswax varies a great deal in colour. Sometimes it is light amber, sometimes butterscotch and sometimes bright yellow.
The colour varies due to how much the wax has been filtered and also by the type of flowers the bees have been foraging on. Just like honey, wax would be lighter when the bees forage on clover than when they are on something like rapeseed.
